The DISA Next Generation Engineering Contract (NexGen) provides support for the engineering and interoperability of DISA's core mission areas including Information Assurance - (IA), Defense Information System Network - (DISN), Defense Message System - (DMS), Global Combat Support System - (GCSS), Defense Information Infrastructure Common Operating Environment - (DII COE), Global Command and Control System - (GCCS), and Electronic Commerce. This indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) task order type contract is used to provide global scientific, engineering, integration, and technical services to DISA, and other Department of Defense and Federal agencies. NexGen has a $1Billion ceiling over seven years.

NexGen provides DISA the ability to support agency requirements as well as their customers who seek support within DISA's missions and functions. This contract provides DISA with intensive software integration support for the GIG with integrated mission applications and data segments. The services provided includes scientific, engineering, integration, technical support, and operational support for command and control, facilities, communications, airborne platforms, and information systems. |
