Community Relations
Dedicated to Making a Difference
FGM’s community relations efforts span the U.S. with diverse programs that support education and mentorship, promote workforce development, strengthen families, and sustain the arts. FGM grants recipients with technology, funding, and employee time and talent. Through ethical leadership, social responsibility, and a commitment to civic duty, we make a positive difference in the communities where we work and live. From implementing internal programs that encourage corporate responsibility among employees to advancing activities that promote community development, FGM remains committed to being a community leader and good corporate citizen.

- Northern Virginia Family Service's (NVFS) non-profit mission, Operation Turkey
- Blondes vs. Brunettes flag football game for the Alzheimer’s Association. Read about it in the Washington Post.
- American Freedom Foundation Festival chopper donation
- Plane Pull to Benefit Special Olympics
- JMU Blue to Green Denim Drive
- The American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life
- Susan G. Komen Foundation’s Race for the Cure
- The Children’s Hospital Charity Golf Tournament
FGM’s Strong Community Partnerships
FGM’s partnership with the Northern Virginia Technology Council as a "Groundhog Job Shadow Day" sponsor and our support of science and engineering fairs throughout the United States, continue our long-standing commitment to building strong community partnerships. For over ten years, FGM sponsored Team MHz in the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Bike Tour—the largest cycling event in America supporting MS research. We have also supported youth education and mentorship in various Regional Science & Engineering Fairs.
