As Vice President, Integrated Defense Systems, Mr. Wilmer leads FGM’s Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) division, which supports major programs with the Defense
Information Systems Agency (DISA), the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), and other Department of Defense (DoD) clients. Mr. Wilmer is responsible for defense-related operations, including budget, resource and program management, and planning, and he reports to the chief operations officer.

Mr. Wilmer's experience ranges from software design and development to project and program management, and he is a frequent presenter of net-centric enterprise service capabilities at nation-wide technical forums. Mr. Wilmer’s software development experience comprises the full software development lifecycle in accordance with DoD specifications, including the transition of client-server applications to net-centric principles.

Mr. Wilmer was previously the deputy director for FGM’s IDS division where he was responsible for two primary activities—coordinating program management activities for FGM’s defense-related business across the IDS division and serving as program manager for FGM’s Net-Centric Enterprise Services (NCES) work.

Prior to being named deputy director, Mr. Wilmer served as the IDS business area manager for net-centric systems where he was responsible for managing FGM’s net-centric program activities, including program management, business development, process improvement, and personnel management.

Mr. Wilmer is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association (AFCEA) Northern Virginia chapter, and he is a past winner of the distinguished Young AFCEAN of the month award. In addition to his Young AFCEAN volunteerism, he is a graduate of the Emerging Leaders Institute, an initiative of Leadership Fairfax that brings together motivated young professionals to participate in community service projects. Mr. Wilmer is also a member of the Project Management Institute and he achieved Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in 2006.

Mr. Wilmer graduated with honors from Princeton University where he achieved a B.S. in computer science.
