National Security Solutions

As Vice President, National Security Solutions (NSS) division, Mr. Ross oversees FGM’s intelligence, information operations, cyber-defense, homeland security and international humanitarian demining business areas and related programs. He is responsible for NSS division profit and loss, business development, marketing, and proposal activities.
Mr. Ross also manages NSS systems engineers, software engineers and subject matter experts who assist FGM’s customers in solving challenges of national importance.

Mr. Ross leads NSS operations, including strategic development, budget, program and project resources, marketing, and proposal activities while continuing to provide information operations subject matter consultation to several NSS customers.

Prior to leading the NSS division, Mr. Ross acted as FGM’s division director for emerging business and for the Integrated Intelligence Solutions division. He was also program manager for FGM’s information operations-related projects spanning influence operations, special technical operations, special access program policy, and security.

Mr. Ross has over 26 years of program and project management experience as both an active duty military officer and as a government contractor. He joined FGM in 2003 following an extensive 20-year career in the U.S. Army.

During his military career, Mr. Ross was a light/airborne infantry officer commanding soldiers at Fort Lewis, Washington; Fort Bragg, North Carolina; and Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Ross served as the Chief of Plans, Special Technical Operations Center (STOC), J-3, on the Joint Staff.

In 2004, Mr. Ross was recognized with FGM’s Robert F. Feeley Leadership
Award. While on active duty, he was awarded the Legion of Merit for meritorious service as well as other service awards and special skill qualifications, including the Army Ranger Tab and Master Parachutist Badge.

Mr. Ross is a resident graduate of the Armed Forces Staff College (1997) and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College (1994). He earned a bachelors degree in sociology from Cameron University in Oklahoma, and completed his masters in education from Long Island University in New York.
